Vintage Scandinavian Glass Design Vintage Scandinavian Glass Design Vintage Scandinavian Glass Design Designed in 1952 and produced in 1956, this large and rare shape was designed by Per Lutken for Holmegaard. The inspiration was the shape and beauty of Danish islands. Perfect for display on a Hans Wegner coffee table or use in the kitchen to display fruit with style. The large have biomorphic freeform curves, and the glass has a clear optical quality, with thick rolled edges. Engraved on bottom "Holmegaard 1956 PL". This piece is in the cool grey color. In very good vintage condition, some wear to the bottom (as seen in photos) from 60 years of normal use. Light wear to the body, but no major scratches, scuffs, cracks, or other damage. Measures: 12 1/4 long, 8 3/4 wide, and 5 inches tall. eBay payment policy precludes me from receiving payments other than PayPal; ask for details.
