***Blood Red Quartz Crystal*** ~~ Lightbrary ~~ Orange River Region "South Africa" 2-1/4" Tall x 3/4" x 3/4" Wide 27 Grams This Orange River red lightbrary is way cool! These type crystals have an opaque white inner core and a thick outside overgrowth of blood red hematite with a clear sparkly gem coat of quartz over most of that. This one has areas with exposed hematite on one side which makes it much more interesting. The hematite is what makes them red and this one is a deep dark blood red, the most highly prized color of orange river red quartz. The primary large crystal has a good covering of smaller lightbrary crystals all around. The small side crystals are what make the crystal a lightbrary, the main crystal is referred to as the teacher and the smaller crystals around the sides are the student body. Well class is definitely in session on this little gem and it's in perfect form, no breakage, perfect termination, perfectly behaved well dressed student body and no shenanigans going on in this classroom.
