This auction is for a dazzling hard-to-find crystal two-handled vegetable bowl in the “Cape Cod” pattern by Imperial Glass, and it’s in pristine-perfect condition! Imperial started making the Cape Cod pattern in 1932, and it’s an extremely popular and collectible pattern that’s getting harder and harder to find in good condition. The eye-catching pattern in the glass really catches and reflects the light beautifully! This handled bowl can be difficult to find in any condition, and this one is immaculate – no chips, cracks, flakes, fleabites, nicks or roughness anyw, and the glass is nice and shiny bright – no stains, scratches, oxidation or dullness whatsoever! It stands 3¼ inches high, and it measure 9½ inches in diameter across the top (11¼ inches including the handles). It’s guaranteed to be genuine – not reproduction or new glass. A good sampling of photographs of the Cape Cod pattern can be seen in Gene Florence’s “Elegant Glassware of the Depression Era” or in Coe’s “Elegant Glass – Early, Depression & Beyond”, w this bowl is shown for $40.00. This one is a fantastic bargain at this low opening bid, and it would be a wonderful addition to any collection of Cape Cod glassware! The lucky winner will pay shipping and insurance. Vegetable bowl will be shipped within 3-4 days after receipt of PayPal payment (if other payment options are desired, please don’t hesitate to inquire). Please feel free to e-mail any other questions or requests for additional photos, and thanks very much for looking!!
