Eccoptochile is a member of the phacopida order of trilobites, family cheiruridae. It is a very special ordovician trilobite that is not easy to find in it's natural form. Even our specimen suffered some restauration, with some little touches that, however, won't take value to this magnificient piece. The species is very rare and when found it is often badly prepared or partially faked or composite. This one is first class prepared with the most advanced laboratory techniques (release from matrix and following dust spreader). All completely natural . This is a very often faked species. We guarantee the quality of our product.
