IMPORTANT PERIOD CIRCA 1750 CHIPPENDALE MIRROR WITH PRINCE OF WALES MOTIF This fantastic estate treasure comes to us from one of America 's earliest movements in period furniture. We are proud to offer this mahogany Chippendale mirror with "Prince of Wales" carved center motif in original finish. This baby hasn't been touched with the exception of its glass (which we can't tell if it's an early replacement or it's been re-silvered years ago) and some old repairs. T are the typical age cracks and t, which we have carefully detailed in our photographs for you, and the piece is completely intact with the exception of missing one of the bottom scroll pieces of the frames' designs, which we never noticed until a careful inspection. The original gold gilded border outlining its finely carved inner frame is faintly visible attesting to its original finish. The mirror is 36" long by 20" wide. Simply a fantastic piece! ITEM DESCRIPTIONS: We are estate liquidators of all types of vintage, antique, and period furniture (anyw from 60 - 200 plus years of age). We cannot possibly list every small scratch, nick or bump that you might normally find on furniture of this magnitude and age. We will, however, list any notable flaws that are of any significance. We usually provide photos of all angles for your inspection. Please LOOK at all photos read more
