Gilt wood with rocaille motifs, fleurs-de-lis framed with shell continuing with palm leaves, scallop shell on foliate frieze. Exaggerated curved legs terminating with scroll leaf feet joined by scallop shell. Lovely decorated elements of classical architecture during the Renaissance period Truly a work of fine artisan and craftsmanship! Museum Quality Period piece.
