Authentic Maritime presents this genuine PERKO DE-LITE Port Running Light in NEW CONDITION! With SOLID BRASS Oil Font (Kerosene Burner). ***NO RESERVE!*** This is a wonderful port running light made of galvanized metal with brass top and brass door/frame. It has been painted gold. Manufactured by Perkins Marine Lamp and Hardware in Brooklyn, New York between 1913 and 1922. Lantern dimensions are 9" tall (10-1/2" tall with ring up) by 5" in diameter. Check the pictures to see how nice this lantern is! HEAVY GLASS Molded Lens is absolutely perfect with no chips or cracks at all. The brass door opens flawlessly and the latch (dog) works perfectly. The brass top of the lantern has a heavy brass hanging ring and nice patina. Lantern has a SOLID BRASS operable kerosene burner font made in USA by Perkins Marine Lamp and Hardware. Burner has never been lit! Proper brass clips hold the burner into the bottom mounting ring tightly. The wick goes up and down. The dual reflectors are still good. Nearly 100 years old and PERFECT! Terrific for the collector! (Please check photos carefully when buying this type of antique lantern. Beware of rust, cracked/chipped or plastic lenses, and painted steel burners which are rusted through. This lantern is LIKE NEW!) Ready to sail the SEVEN SEAS!
