Up for sale is one amazing lantern ! This is a Perco Masthead lantern . This is one large lamp...It measures 16" tall annd 8" at the base. It weighs just over 10 lbs.

The Perko markings are found on 3 places on this lamp, 1. on the brass tag it says ( Perko manufactures - Perkins Marine Lamp & Hardware Corp. - Miami Florida. USA )

2. "Perko" is found on the bottom of the fuel pot. 3. "Perko" is found in the large clear lens. ( never seen that before ! ) I took photos to try to show you these !

There are no Chips in the lens ( PERFECT for its age ) There are no dents or scratches I can see.

The burner is inserted through the bottom and locks in place with a twist. The burner and base are brass ! The burner knob says ( P&A MFG. CO. Waterbury CONN. ) The top of the burner does open as shown. Looks like it is missing a small globe. These can be found at most hardware stores cheep !

Besides the burner base being made of brass ...the 4 rings on the side and the top are also brass.!

I have used smokeless fuel in all my lamps. Therefore they can be used inside if you wish.

When this lamp is lit and hanging it can be seen for a long distance .

I have taken several photos for you to judge for yourself !

When lit .. this lamp demands respect ! A working piece of American History !

I do have a reserve ! Not as high as you may think. I just can"t give this lamp away. I'ts worth every dollar you may spend on it. !
