Bound in top grade brown leather with 22kt gold lettering and cover artwork. Hubbed spine, acid neutral paper with page edges gilded, satin moire endpapers, and a satin ribbon book mark sewn in. Unused Easton Press bookplate laid in (not attached). Publisher's Note (Sulky Girl): Unable to marry due to a stipulation in her late father's will -- which states that she will lose his millions if she does wed -- headstrong Frances hires Perry Mason to get around the clause, and soon he ends up solving a family murder. Publisher's Note (Lucky Legs): Tall, heavy-set, dignified and handsome, Frank Patton was a promoter. He was also a crook. His racket of running contests for girls with beautiful legs was technically within the law, and gullible, small-town chambers of commerce were his victims. There were complaints, but no prosecutions. Frank was a very careful man. But when Perry Mason finally caught up with him, Frank Patton was a very dead man... Condition: Binding - very good plus, one page had the upper corner turned down, slight wear to the bottom corners, moderate rubbed spot on the side page edge gilding, a couple of other minor flaws to the page edge gilding.
