Heidi is offering a custom “make it into art” piece. How does it work? You simply mail or deliver any one –three items which I then turn into an art piece. You can include a word or a sentence as well if you wish to further influence my creative response. I have been doing impromptu poems and impromptu art for the past year and am always amazed at what comes of these projects. Heidi Denkers is an artist working in mediums such as sculpture, installation, acrylic, oil, mixed media, found objects, and words. She is most passionate about art as a medium for change, be it at the personal level, within the community, or between communities. Heidi has been making art for many years, and recently graduated California Institute of Integral Studies with a Masters of Counseling Psychology in Expressive Art Therapy.
