Up for auction is a vintage Pescador 501 spinning reel. This reel was made in Italy by the Zangi Co., one of the fine Italian reel makers who started making reels in the early 40s. The Pescador 501 is a large size and was one of their most popular models. This particular reel is in very good condition with minimal paint loss, and no pitting on the handle. It works very well with a smooth retreive, a strong The 501 is the right hand retreive model of the 500 series.I am selling off a part of my collection and I have a number of other Italian reels up for auction so be sure to check them out.
