I was really pleased to find these. They are the perfect size for the American Girl and Sasha dolls. 4 books come in a stiff paperboard sleeve with Peter Rabbit on front. The full story is included in each book, complete with Beatrix Potter's original illustrations. Here are the titles you will receive: The Tale of Peter Rabbit The Tale of Benjamin Bunny The Tale of Mrs. Tittlemouse The Tale of the Flopsy Bunnies The books fit snugly into their slipcase which is 2-3/8 x 3-1/2 inches. (The design of the slipcase has changed some. You will still like it!) People write to me to tell me they love my little stories about our 4 kids (3 of whom are in college now). Here's a funny one about Gracey: We went to a classy bookstore one day with her older brother and baby sister. Gracey was about 2-1/2 years old at the time. I gave the kids some "choice" about which book they would get. Gracey was drawn to the Beatrix Potter books but couldn't make up her mind. I said we should get the one named "Two Bad Mice" and she didn't seem to like that idea. But I knew she would like it because we were becoming a dollhouse family, so I bought it anyway. It was a beautiful spring day so I put her in her carseat in the back seat, on the passenger side. Her big brother was next to her and the baby (Piper) was behind me on his other side. (It was a Graham sandwich!) The back window was down a little bit. I handed the kids their new books to look at. When we got home I couldn't find Gracey's book and just thought it had slipped down next to the seat. I didn't think much about it at the time because I was getting 3 kids out of the car. But later, when we were showing our treasures to Daddy, where was Gracey's book? Oh, in the car--"Go get it, Gracey." "No, dose bad mice in da wode." It took us a while, but we finally figured out she threw the book out of the car window because she would NOT bring home a book about "doze bad mice." It was hard to get her to sit still for the reading of the story once I got a replacement book! She really was good, through and through, and she still is today!
