This listing is for a Peterson Shannon brown briar pipe in a walnut finish that was made in Dublin , Ireland . Peterson pipes are one of the oldest and most reliable pipe brands, which are is a quite prestigious brand. The pipe has fabulous marbleized grain on it, in a non glossy walnut finish, which is extremely attractive looking. On the side of the pipe, it is marked "Peterson Dublin Shannon". The pipe is very clean. It was cleaned by the original owner, from which I purchases it at an estate sale. This pipe was only used once or twice by the original owner. This pipe is extremely clean (see close up of the bowl picture). There are not any teeth marks on the stem. The pipe is in excellent condition. The only flaw appears to be that the stem may need polishing and there are a couple whitish spots on the top of the stem, which I think can be polished out or simply cleaned.
