For your consideration we offer at auction an very nice pre-smoked pipe, hand made in Ireland and marked on the side of the briar shank "Peterson Deluxe" and "Made in Ireland ." This pipe originated out of the estate of a pipe collector who was active in the 1970s through 1990s. It has been smoked but not heavily; in cleaned condition by the smoker but needs a thorough cleaning and sanitizing. This fine briar pipe has exceptionally nice dark brown straight graining. The rim of the bowl is flat in shape. The bit has the characteristic "P" shaped mouthpiece. The stem end of the shank is capped off by a rounded sterling silver cap. This cap is also marked Dublin and Sterling Silver with three hallmarks with the letters and symbol "K&P" embossed into the silver. The stem fits snuggly into the silver cap and curves up to the tip. The chamber measures approximately 3/4 inches across the top by 1 and ¾ inches deep at its highest point. Overall, this pipe measures nearly 6 and ¼ inches in length and has a 2 inch tall bowl.

T are NO Cracks, NO chips, and NO filling anyw on this pipe with no serious bite marks on the curved stem's bit. I would rate it as VERY GOOD condition based on my personal inspection.
