Peterson Sherlock Holmes Series -"Milverton"- with silver band You are bidding on a unique Peterson Sherlock holmes series " MILVERTON" pipe. This pipe has a beautiful black stain finish that completely covers the entire bowl and shank. The shank itself is panelled in shape and this continues up into the mouthpiece. The shank is also fitted with a unique and distinctive silver band ( please see pictures ). Classic "Billiard" shaped style bowl and 1/2 bent, panelled shank. Part of a specialty series of pipes called " Return of Sherlock Holmes collection ", based upon the original series of 7 and made with specially selected briar. This larger sized pipe really stands out by its intense, black stained finish and overall classic shape. A very nice and unique piece by Peterson that's sure to please the most decerning pipe smoker ! This pipe has been lightly smoked and is in excellent condition ! ( please see pictures ). The pipe was cleaned, sanitized and lightly polished by one of the oldest pipemakers, in Montreal ! Markings: The mouthpiece is the original "P" lip, shows the classic " P" logo in silver and is in excellent condition ( please see pictures ).
