PETERSON SHAMROCK 999 WITH SILVER BAND General Description This is a Peterson Pre Republic Shamrock 999 shape with a sterling band marked with a shamrock and hallmarks. The briar is mixed grain and smooth. T are a few minor usage "dings" mostly on the rim (see pics). Markings are faint and the stem shows signs of buffing. All in all however a very nice and not often seen pipe. Ready to go out of the box. I ream the bowl when necessary, I always sanitize using the "Professor's Method". I encourage you to also do your own sanitizing for your peace of mind and my peace of mind. As with any estate pipe however, if you run a clean pipe cleaner through the pipe you will get some residue . I remove stem oxidation to the best of my ability attempting to save any important nomenclature. I buff and wax all pipes with tripoli, white diamond compound and carnauba wax. This pipe is ready to go out of the box. Please understand however that packages from Canada to the US or visa versa have to go through US Customs and this can take some time. It is not unusual for packages to take four to six weeks to be delivered. I ship within two business days of the end of the auction. Once a package is shipped by me and I send you a copy of the tracking number t is nothing more I can do to expedite your delivery.
