RARE This specimen of petrified Joshua Tree is natural, just the way it was found. Cutting and polishing could not improve on the beauty of this piece. Known as "PROTOYUCCA SHADISHII" by petrified wood experts and collectors. It is a portion of the Secondary Cylinder. Since Joshua Tree does not have growth rings, the structure is primarily described as primary and secondary cylinders. It weighs over 4 ounces. It is 2 3/4 inches long, 2 1/4 inches wide, and 3/4 inches thick. The first picture shows the detail of the cells structure. The third picture is of the opposite end from the first picture. Shipping will be in a small flat rate box, with insurance required.
