Up for auction I have a Gorgeous German Pewter Beer Stein. This is a fabulous stein and would be a very unique addition to the pewter lovers collection. This stein is in used condition. T are some minor age related surface markings that came from normal use. They in no way take away from the beauty, function, or appearance of this magnificent stein. T is no corrosion or discolorations on this very beautiful pewter beer stein. **This piece stands perfectly straight contrary to my poor photographs. DESCRIPTION: The first scene features a gentleman sitting at a table with his head resting on his hand. T is a long shelf on the wall behind him with plates displayed on it.. The second scene features a jolly gentleman sitting in a chair holding a stein. He is wearing a sword at his side and is in medieval era clothing. The third scene features what looks like a court jester entering through a door. Very unique! This stein has a pretty dark patina on it. The base is wide and smooth. The lid of this stein is extremely ornamental. It features a gentleman on horseback blowing a horn at what looks like a castle gate. A guardsman is wearing medieval clothing and holding a very long handled axe like weapon. T is a celestial moon in the sky. A banner across the top says in German: Gibt es keinen Tropfen Bierdes morgens um halb vierRaus da!
