This Pewter Pedestal Bowl is identified as produced by Woodbury Pewterers, has the Woodbury Pewterers Eagle Hallmark (flanked by a P & H). Woodbury Pewterers were founded in 1952 by R.C. Holbrook and L.R. Titcomb when they acquired the tools, dies, etc., of the Merwin & Wilson Co., of New Milford, Connecticut. These initial acquisitions were used to develop a product line of Early American Pewter Reproductions.(Ency.Amer.Silver Mfgs.) Acquired at an estate sale this Pewter Pedestal Bowl is is very good condition with a slight deformation.
