LargeFlagg & Homan Pewter Coffee/Tea Set
Antique Flagg & Homan 3 Piece Pewter Coffee or Tea Set in good condition. All 3 pieces has some scratches and wear on them.Coffee/ Tea Pot is approx. 9" tall. Diameter of base is approx 4 1/4". It has a small dent in the side. Hinged lid with floral decoration on top is in good working order.Sugar Bowl with lid is approx 6 3/4" tall. Diameter of base is approx. 3 5/8".Creamer has no lid (not sure if it ever did). It measures approx. 6" tall. Diameter of base is approx. 3".Each piece is marked Flagg & Homan inside an oval, Pewter and have the number 8. The creamer and the pot have additional hand engravings that I can't decipher.My research indicates that this company operated in Cincinatti, Ohio, USA under the name Flagg & Homan from 1842 to 1854. It was later known as Homan & Co., Homan Mfg. Co. etc. and the company closed in 1941.I'm always happy to answer any questions you might have.
