A lovely old pewter tankard with glass bottom. Prewar George V with crest and shown as presented by K.Pennell July 1934. I can only presume when a student joined he was required to present a tankard. This was part of a large set of items auctioned off when the college closed.12cms high with 9cms diameter top. It has makers mark and other details stamped near handle. Very heavy.In good condition with a few scratches consistent with age.
