For your consideration is a Pexto No 299 sheet metal circle shear. This circle shear was used in a high school metalworking shop w they used it to cut out aluminum blanks for metal spinning. It was used very lightly and with soft metal so it's in great shape. It appears well cared for and complete. It was repainted in the original matching Pexto color. The straight-cutting attachment is present but the handle was missing when I got the circle shear. I have a nice replacement handle that should work just fine. I've attached a scan of this model circle shear from my 1941 Pexto catalog (I deleted the irrelevant information). The catalog says that this circle shear weighs about 300 pounds (packaged). I think the unboxed weight is close to about 225 pounds. I don't have a way of delivering the circle shear for freight shipping but if you can arrange the particulars for freight shipping, I'll work with you. Otherwise, you'll have to come pick up the circle shear yourself. My zip-code is 15963 (for distance and on-line maps). T's no great hurry to come get the circle shear. If you need a couple of weeks or a month, that's fine. The metal-holding portion of the shear comes off and you can easily transport the shear in a car as long as the back seat folds down. If you have any questions feel free to ask. I accept No personal checks please. read more
