PACIFIC FAST MAIL SOUND GENERATING UNIT WITH REVERBERATION UNIT AND WALKAROUND UNIT. A LTM unit in the box also a PFM 10 face ported enclosure (can be used in place of the standard speaker) see photo # 8 at top of photo. ALL UNITS ARE NEW AND IN ORIGINAL BOXES. Each has installation papers and sound unit has its guide book and the LTM Installation Manual. The sound unit is a self-contained, audio signal gernerating unit which through the use of all solid state circuitry, creates steam locomotive sound signals and sends them along the track to be picked up and played through a miniature speaker in a sound equipped locomotive. This unit employs 21 transitors and 21 diodes. The unit also contains a transitorized throttle that provides smooth control of the locomotive speed, as well as the power necessary to operate the PFM constant intensity locomotive lighting.
