These charms were purchased in Paris during the early '50's for my mother's bracelet. The jump ring on the phantom charm is marked 750, signifying that it is 18K gold. The opera house charm has no marking at all, but everything else on the bracelet was real gold, so this must be as well. It shows no sign of being gold plated, which likely would have happened if it were plated, jostling around with other charms for so many years. They are both in great condition and the details are amazing. The phantom stands 1" tall not including the jump ring, and the opera charm is .5" tall, not including the jump ring. He is a hollow figure with beautifully crafted details front and back, including his homely face. He holds the famous mask in his right hand. These would make a unique gift for that person who treasures the legend, the music, or the Broadway musical production "Phantom of the Opera." Thanks for looking, and international bidders are welcome.
