You are bidding on a Phantom of the Opera - Monkey Musical Waterglobe/Snowglobe by San Francisco Music Box Company. This piece is features the Monkey inside the waterglobe and the snow continues to blow as the music plays. It is hand-painted and made of cold cast resin. It plays "Masquerade" and measures approximately 4.75"L x 4.75"W x 6.5"H. This piece is great for any fan!!! This item is new with the original box. It has been for sale in our store. Original retail price is $50. This piece has been discontinued and is no longer available from San Francisco Music Box. A note about air bubbles in waterglobes (see small bubble in this piece): T are various reasons why water globes develop air bubbles. High heat can cause evaporation of the water in the globe and extreme cold can cause freezing and temporarily shrink the rubber that holds in the water of the globe, some water may leak out as it defrost tfore causing an air bubble. During production, small air bubbles may cling to the inside of the glass and the character insert when water is introduced and the globe is sealed. Another possibility is trapped air in the lining of the seal that may be forced out during shipping because of the vibrations of the plane, truck or boat. Unfortunately t is no way to guarantee waterglobes will not develop an air bubble now or in the future. read more
