This is a new mount of a Ringneck Rooster Pheasant flying to the left with his wings out. From beak to tail 33",the wings from tip to tip 33", and the tail is 20". We have been in the taxidermy business for fourteen years now specializing in birds and the good old ringneck pheasant and mallard ducks are my favorite. My mounts are captive bread and reared in very large pens to prevent them from fighting and damaging there feathers as you see in most pen reared birds. They are fed specialty feed to maximize there color and feather quality and harvested in late fall when the plumage is at its peak. All mounts are finished on both the show and wall side. The flying mounts are suspended from a single 9 gauge wire attached to either a barn wood or drift wood base. Each base has a hanger attached so the birds arrive ready to hang on the wall. My mounts have also been balanced so they will not rotate on the nail every time someone slams the door. I have noticed this to be a very common problem on wall hung mounts. We ship in new boxes filled with foam peanuts. I have tried several methods such as newspaper and unfortunately the most expensive way is by far the best. Due to the large size of the box we are charged an oversize fee on top of shipping and it all ads up pretty fast. Sorry the shipping is so much. We charge a flat rate of $45 for shipping in the lower forty eight states. This is a CAPTIVE BRED PEN RAISED MALLARD under federal waste and disposal permit #MB054551-0 The regulation of Mallard ducks requires the removal of the hind toe on the right leg as evidenced by a healed scar. My mallards have all been marked as required by federal law and are legal for sale and possession. The recipient does not require documentation other than the healed scar on the right leg. Due to the number of ducks I have had removed from ebay I have included a copy of my federal permit as a picture on my listing. Thanks and good luck on bidding.
