is a super rare catalog entitled Philadelphia Lawn Mowers by the Philadelphia Lawn Mower Co 4250 Wissahickon Avenue, Philadelphia, PA USA. This beautifully illustrated catalog has 51 pages and measures 8 3/4 x 11. If you love old lawnmowers this is the catalog for you. Each page showcases an item sold by the company and the opposite page gives the information on it. On the product page it also gives the specifications and list prices. It shows the models SA , the A, E,K,M, SC,BB, H,L,E - GOLF, SPG, a lawn trimmer, roller mower, Eagle, Pony, horse mower - eagle, eagle special, 21 inch and horse lawn sweeper. The last couple pages are testimonials from satisfied customers that had their mowers for 25, 35 and up to 40 years. Try getting that from a mower made today.I don't see a date on this catalog but the last date in the testimonials is 1928 so I would assume that it is from that date.Most of the mowers shown are push mowers, t are a few with motors , a horse drawn and believe it or not a pony drawn. The illustrations are so cool and mechanical looking. I would love to have just one of these mowers. On some of the pages t is a picture of a globe which above it says Since 1869 and inside Largest Makers of High Grade Lawn mowers in the World.They really brag about the quality of the merchandise and I am sure they had every right to. read more
