Two Philco 6A3 tubes, NEW in original boxes with the tall coke bottle shape glass bulb. Printed bases with black plates. I believe these were made by Sylvania for the radio manufacturer Philco. These are of course electrically equivalent to the 2A3 tube, with the exception that it has a 6.3 V filament instead of a 2.5 V filament. Tested on a Hickok TV-3 military tester that has been calibrated, just to make sure. Firm bases, excellent silvering as it should have. Tubes are matched for transconductance and structure- test at 3400, 3450 where pass/fail is 1900 micomho. These were found with other new in box tubes in which the boxes were destroyed by improper storage. One of the boxes here is rather complete, the other is partial. They have the exact same structure inside and out, having matching date codes of "2U". Many other lots of tubes for sale this week.Shipping is $6.05 by USPS priority mail within the continental US.
