The photos do not do the table justice: to see it with the sun playing over the surface is amazing! The light bouncing off the varied texture of the table creates a constantly shifting mosaic of delightful c ol or . This varied texture is exactly how the artist (Philip LaVerne) designed it to be. I have a 100% ebay rating: maybe this detailed description will help you understand why: There is a very small dimple on the surface, but my guess you can't easily spot it, most people don't see it, even when they see the table up close, until it's pointed out, It was the appraiser that brought it to my attention. It is slightly left of center, and almost at the top edge of the table surface. (It is about 1/2" x 1/4" and maybe 1/10" (or less) inch deep.
