We are offering sensual vintage Lithograph by Phillipe Noyer ( 1917-85 ), French artist best known for his images of attractive young Wom en with Big Cats. This wo rk, depictin g an alluring Girl with Leopard ( or Cheetah ), is no exception. Noyer was highly educated at the finest Art Schools in France, and his career as an emerging young artist was very successful. However, his greatest fame was realized in the United State s after WWII , where a quirk of fate found him working in California. He became a darling of th e Hollywood elite, and his Paintings and Print s were avidly collect ed by the likes of Samuel Goldwyn and Elizabeth Taylor. His work , while unique, reflects the influence o f the Art Nouvea u style and Modernism. This Lithograph is Signed in Pencil Lower Right, where it is also Numbered " 186/ 25 0 ". The Print measures about 20 " by 26 3/4 ", and the Frame about 23 " by 29 1/2 ". Condition is Very Good . Th e Print, which i s behind Plex ig la ss, appears to b e i n its original Frame . Whi le Ple xig lass seems a bit cheesy whe n utilized with a work of this qualit y, its presence ( as opposed to Glass ) will reduce Shipping Costs while pro viding protection.
