Up for bid is a Phillipson Bamboo Fly Rod, an Impregnated “Preferred" model. It is in great condition with all ferrules tight, wraps intact, and sections straight. For some reason “Preferred” has worn off the rod shaft but the tube has a Phillipson decal with the word “Preferred”. The rod is 9 feet long with two tips. Weight is 5-5/8oz, Line weight is HCH. Reel seat is in excellent condition with just some small scratches on the bottom. Those light areas you see on the cork are rubs, not gouges, and will sand off easily. I suspect they came from the snake guides hitting the cork while in the tube when the rod was transported. The sections are exactly equal lengths. The wraps are gold with black trim. This is an extremely nice Phillipson rod in great condition with Phillipson tube and bag.
