HEIGHT (bowl): 8.0”HEIGHT (stand): 24-1/2”WIDTH (MAX): 15”WEIGHT (BOWL ONLY): 10lb 6.8ozSIGNATURE/MARK: “PATENTED SEPT. 41929 P.G.CoDescription & History: From the ashes of the Consolidated Glass Company arose the Phoenix Glass Company. And from his father Reuben Haley’s crazy design for glass named Ruba Rombic, K. Haley designed this iconic Art Deco masterpiece in 1929, which of course was pretty bad timing. The result was that very few of these large, wild, unique fishbowls were ever produced. Here is a very, very, very rare piece of American Art Glass, in very good condition. With only a few small flea bites to the rim (about 8-10) and almost no fading or scratches, and with the original stand this is one of the best examples in the world today. The fishbowl’s authenticity is unquestionable, showing the patent date stamp along the bottom edge, and made from uranium-glass, and the stand seals the deal. You may never get another chance to own such a rare and beautiful item, and all reasonable offers will be considered. Don’t hesitate, send in a bid right away!Condition: There are no cracks or hairlines. There are a few small flea-bites to the inside top edge, the largest of which is about ¼” across. The bowl itself has good strong color and little or no scratches to the surfaces. Overall condition is very good to excellent.Shipping
