PhosphuranyliteMarysvale, Piute County, Utah 5.2 x 4.2 centimeters Ralph E. Merrill personal collection A rich small cabinet specimen of Phosphuranylite from Marysvale, Utah. This speicmen features yellow rosettes of this uncommon uranium bearing phosphate scattered about matrix. This specimen is from the collection of Otto Ray, a field geologist who worked various localities across the Colorado Plateau during the heights of the uranium boom. This specimen is undated, but most of the specimens from the Ray collection were collected between the 1940s through the 1970s.
