This is a genuine Military Issued Phrobis III M9 Bayonet with scabbard. 3 line "3rd generation" variation. Complete with all original parts as it came from the military. This bayonet has been been carried in the field, so it has normal scratches and wear. Has lightly etched numbers on the blade, scabbard, pouch and handle - "H98". There is another number on the blade - "49". Blade is overall very nice and has a well maintained edge with no significant chips or oversharpening. No wire cut gouges, but has a few chipped teeth on the saw. The handguard and pommel have some rust and pitting.The top strap is missing, but it is the original Bianchi top clip. All of the button snaps work. Original stone was missing and the new one shown is not glued in, and will be inside the pouch. A small bead of silicone is how they were glued in, if you want to do that. Made in USA. Because this bayonet is genuine military surplus, it can't ever be legally sold to a non-US citizen, or sent out of the U.S. without the proper license. No international shipping.
