PHROBIS, U. S. MILITARY FIGHTING KNIFE BLADE. These blades were made by Buck Knives for Phrobis for the military's Model 9010 M.F. K. (Modular, All-purpose, Field Knife), used in Desert Storm in 1991. These blades have been tempered, and have the original aggressive sawtooth top. The knife has a standard thread as shown. The blade can be threaded onto a piece of threaded rod, through the use of a 3/8" threaded coupler as shown. The knife can be customized to fit the user with a stag, wood, micarta, or plastic handle. The pommel and guard can be made from brass, with a nut used to hold the handle on to make an awesome fighting knife. These blades are sterile, having NO stamping, just like the originals used in Desert Storm. Own a piece of history , customize to your own taste. Knife has agressive sawtooth, massive blood groove and sharpened false edge on top. Blades need only final sharpening. This auction is for ONE BLADE ONLY. Two were used to photograph front and back of blade. Blade length is a massive 5 1/2".
