Julius Weismann (1879-1950). Important German pianist, impressionist composer and conductor who was a student of Liszt's pupil Hermann Dimmler and heavily influenced by Claude Debussy. He was a prolific, multi-faceted composer who worked within virtually every genre, including operas, stage pieces, choral works, chamber pieces, symphonies, concertos, and piano pieces of all kinds. An exceptionally uncommon signed note on a vintage postcard mailed by from Dresden, Germany on November 18, 1913. In very good condition, with some light age-related toning and edge-wear throughout.
