Piano Music Box Brass Marble Classical Movement

Offering this lovely vintage music box in the shape of a grande piano; made of solid brass with ornate bands of floral scrolls and greek key patterns. Stands on three figural legs depiciting Egyptian style women. It also has the foot pedal leg with a detailed lyre. Piano keys are a thick enamel painted plastic or metal. The lid is a slab of solid marble with an ornate detailed scroll, wreath, and ribbon. Inside is lined in black velveteen. There is a small compartment for storage. Musical movement is a reuge, plays very clearly and smoothly. Tune is not know, but a classical minuet song. Music box measures 8 1/2 inches long x 5 1/4 inches wide x 4 inches tall, very good condition, no cracks or chips, nicely darkened patina on the brass. Very heavy, weighs about 4 1/2 lbs - shipping/insurance to continental US will be $10.00. A beautiful music box for your collection!
