ThePica Fairchild PT-19 is a 1/12 scale, laser cut, balsa and light plyelectric airplane kit. It is intended for a speed 400 to 480 class of motor and a pilot/builder with intermediate flying skills and some experience with installing and configuring electric power systems. The design of this kit incorporates Pica’s "Laser Lock" system of construction. The result is a kit that provides a quick, easy, and virtually error free building experience and an airplane with good flying characteristics.Kit Contents: The kit comes nicely packaged with various sheets of high quality, laser cut balsa and light ply parts, all of the needed pushrod and hardware parts, well illustrated instructions and AutoCAD drawn plans, precut decals, and well formed plastic (ABS or PETG) top module, cowl, and windshields. All wood parts are clearly marked with an identifier. The instructions contain a detailed parts list and all steps clearly identify all parts used during construction. All that is required of the builder to get this kit in the air is a roll of covering, a 400-480 sized motor, 2-3 micro to sub-micro servos, a 10-25A electronic speed controller, 7-8 cell 500-800mAh battery pack, a lightweight 4+ channel receiver, and all the normal building supplies (glues, sand paper, etc.)
