This piece is a bit of a mystery - and an opportunity for Picasso scholars. I know nothing about this item other than that a "Man" and a "Woman" were made for American Express. It looks like a composite or ceramic, but I'm unsure. It definitely has serpentine, slinky aesthetic appeal - and Picasso is stamped right there on the base, like a hallmark or brand verso of name (please see gallery for many images). It measures approx. 1 foot in height and the black base is approx. 5 1/2" in width and 4 1/2" in length. Thank you for viewing, good luck bidding and questions are always appreciated.
