's a nice embossed picture blob top beer. Measures about 9 1/2" tall, aqua, embossed "KARL HUTTER / XLCR / LAGER (inside embossed bottle) / 23 FIRST ST / COR 2d AVE / N.Y. // THIS / BOTTLE / NOT TO / BE SOLD". Looks to be circa 1880 or so, nice crude applied blob top. Not sure of this is the same K. Hutter who later became famous for his patent on porcelain lightning stoppers in the 1890's, but certaibly a possibility. Excellent condition, very light wear, a touch of internal haze and a tiny pinhead ding on the edge of the base, original somewhat rusted metal lightning stopper. A great picture beer! Winning bidder pays actual priority postage. Feel free to ask any questions. Thanks for looking!
