THE FINEST CUSTOM MAHOGANY CHIPPENDALE PIE CRUST BALL & CLAW TIP TOP TABLE BY MAYFLOWER COLONIAL SHOPS BOSTON-CIRCA 1900 Allston Antiques takes the utmost pride & pleasure in offering you this absolutely stunning and finest quality custom mahogany tip top Chippendale pie crust pierced carved ball & claw table by the Mayflower Colonial Shops of Boston. Mayflower is by far and bar none the VERY finest in custom Boston furniture. This table comes to us from the liquidation of the 20th Century Film Company's prop department. You'll notice a very light sun fade spot from where a dollie sat on it but other than that small matter it is in exceptional condition. Its top was made from a solid piece of 2" thick Honduran mahogany. It has finely carved and detailed cabriolet legs and center pedestal. This is Mayflower's number "512" tip top table in this fashion. We believe they only made 1,000 of them. We have had the good fortune of handling a good amount of Mayflower pieces in the course of our 35 year career of liquidating Boston's very finest estates. Without apology or excuses its the very best available and to us that means something. It is truly an honor to handle this exceptional piece. It has a 30" top, stands 29" tall when fliped down and is 44" tall when flipped back.
