Pierre Cardin Backgammon Game in Case This is a vintage (70's) backgammon board game by Pierre Cardin. Comes in designer case with handle. Complete and clean condition - just a little wear on the clasps - not bad. Case has a few scuffs but nothing serious. It also comes with instructions in English and French, AND a paperback "Backgammon for Blood" by Bruce Decker, CR 1975. The book does have an inscription on the inside title page - kind of neat - it was given by a lady to her husband and she noted for him to remember that she'd read the book too!! NICE vintage designer item. You will be very pleased. Also, I wanted to mention that the discs look to be made of something like bakelite or similar material. I pictured a close-up so maybe you could tell, as I am not an expert in these materials. Games are great fun, keep you out of trouble and your mind sharp. What's not to like? We have more vintage games listed if you would like to check them out! Please view photos and email with any questions. We are a smoke-free home. Our two miniature poodles don't bother our stuff despite the fact that one of them is a little shifty-eyed! SHOP WITH CONFIDENCE..NO GOUGING ON SHIPPING...ACCURATE DESCRIPTIONS...LOTS OF CLEAR PHOTOS...A PLEASURE TO COMBINE...THANKS FOR LOOKING! See my other listings for more great items!PLEASE don't go through checkout! To insure that you receive the best possible shipping cost and accurate, total, we will send an invoice shortly after the auction ends. We add virtually nothing for handling - 50 cents - for materials, time and fuel. The rates shown in our listings are determined by USPS and UPS, based on package size, weight and destination in relation to the State of Virginia. And yes, they are bad enough. In addition, UPS rates increased by 4.9%, effective January 1, 2009 and the post office is going up on IT'S rates effective mid January. From what I observe in reviewing other sellers' feedback, most eBay buyers seem to feel that the cost they pay for shipping is too high and thus rate sellers' Shipping and Handling star accordingly. I believe that many people do not realize what the actual costs are these days, as well as the restrictions, options related to package size, weight and DESTINATION. A few sellers DO overcharge, but most do not. PLEASE take this into consideration when you post feedback. INTERNATIONAL BUYERS - PLEASE TAKE NOTE! Important duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determne what these additional costs will be be to bidding/buying. These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick up the item - do not confuse them as additional shipping charges. We do NOT mark merchandise values below value or mark items as "gift" - US and international government regulations prohibit such actions. We mark our custom forms "merchandise" with a brief description of the contents. As a result, we seldom have problems with international shipments. SPECIAL NOTES:
