You are bidding on a metal commemorative tray issued in the early 1980's celebrating the founding of the Piggly Wiggly Grocery chain. This unique collectible is in very good condition. The paint on the front is still bright and clear. It features the interior of a Piggly Wiggly store, a portrait of Piggly Wiggly's founder Clarence Saunders, the Memphis bridge, and Piggly Wiggly's smiling mascot -- Mr. Pig. The back has minimal wear along the edges. It has a lengthy write-up on the history of Piggly Wiggly and Coca-Cola. The tray measures approximately 13 inches by 10-1/2 inches.
