According to knowledgeable sources, Pilgrim is the only company to ever successfully case more than five layers.......and they have cased up to twelve layers, a landmark accomplishment in glass making history. The interior of this piece is a beautiful sky blue, followed by colors of brown, tan, green, white and gold......simply stunning. The farm scene features a fence that incircles the piece, a farm house, barn, horse and beautiful mountains and a delicate blue sky, and fantastic white birch trees that defy description!
