I believe this great large cranberry glass vase was made by Pilgrim Glass although it has no tag or makers label. It has a smoothed pontil on the bottom and a melon shape with a gathered neck and flared top, there is a faded frayed silk cord tied around the neck making it look like a sack. It has some wear on the bottom and some bubbles and imperfections in the glass but no mineral deposits, no chips, no cracks.
