THE BEST PILLIN If you like or love Pillin, you will love this early one As you know, if you know the glaze, it was impossible to get photos without glare. I did my best. A wonderful plus for this is you don't have to pay a 17.5% or 20% buyers premium, because this is not a live auction. (It blows me away that people pay so much for this at an auction plus a buyers premium on top of that amount.) I don't recall having seen this exact painting on a Pillin before. It is a showpiece. It reminds me of painting in an ancient cave that scientists have found. One one side t are 4 horses, the other side 3 horses, with one looking backward. You can feel the eyes of the horses-they are raised on the 4 horse side. This magnificent vase is 6 3/4" tall and 10 1/4" long. It is 4 1/2" across the opening. It weighs just a bit less than 4 pounds and that is unboxed. It has no chips, cracks or repairs. It has no after production boo boos. It has a needle tip burst bubble on the rim (made that way) and a flat needle tip unglazed dot on the rim (made that way). It is factory mint.I will be listing more Pillin in the coming weeks. I am selling the ones I have on eBay now for what I paid or less. If I have to keep them for many years until they are even more rare than they are now. I will have to.
