is a vintage French porcelain covered tureen that measures nearly 10 inches long and about 7 inches tall. A duck's head also acts as the handle on the lid. I believe this was made for cooking wild game or making pate. Next to the duck's bill is a steam vent hole in the lid. On the bottom of the tureen is an impressed number 5 and the mark PILLIVUYT FRANCE 732. The inside of this looks very nice as I see no sign of glaze crazing. Fortunately t are no chips or cracks or any other problems. T are a few tiny paint specks which will be easy to remove. Just with my fingernail I was able to gently scratch off some of these specks. (Any other bright white spots are just reflections from the light). No reserve! Buyer to pay shipping (depending on distance, $8.50 to $17.75 Priority Mail s/h; foreign will be more). Orders paid by MO, PayPal or cashiers check will be shipped asap. Orders paid by personal check will be shipped after check clears.
