This auction is for a 1986 Williams Pin*Bot Pinball Machine. Released in October of 1986 and designed by Barry Oursler & Python Anghelo. Art work is also by Python Anghelo. The game is a lot of fun to play! Game play is evenly split around the playfield. You can work on the target grid to get to multiball, or the drop targets to advance the planets, or shoot the ramp to build up energy at the pop bumpers with the top left target thrown in to work toward an extra ball. T is a lot to do. Everything scores in a reasonable fashion except the multiball bonus. It can award four million points! It's accomplished by shooting one of the two balls back into an eye saucer and then shooting the ramp at the top of the playfield, easier said than done! A large part of the Pin*Bot experience is the sound. Pin*Bot talks with a very robot like tone and the music is very electronic. It sounds great and ties the whole theme together. In this pinball game, the player attempts navigate throughout a representation of the solar system toward the Sun. The first planet is always Pluto. In order to move from planet to planet, the player must knock down three drop targets in quick succession, or hit a specially marked target when it is lit.
