Pine ridge Sioux Indian Pottery Vase from the late 1930's signed" E WOODY". It measures 4 3/4" tall, 13" in diameter around at widest point. It is in Excellent condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. The vase was made by Ella IRVING. Also known as Ella Woody in the late 1930's. Mrs Irving was one of the founders of the Pine Ridge Pottery and her signed pots are very difficult to find these days. The vase in done in a high green glaze with hints of red showing through.
