OLD PINE TOOL CHEST This has been stored in myshed for ages and had a lot of use over the years; consequently it has had its fair share of scratches, chips out, paint spills and other disfigurements that you would expect to get in a garage/workshop environment. On saying this, it is pretty solidly built, having semi-concealed dovetail joint construction and steel strap reinforcements. The steelwork is rusting but generally OK, although two of the small corner gussets are missing. The overall size is approx., 23” wide x 14”deep x 15” high. It has a hinged lid with hasp and staple locking facility and two toggle style fastening clips. There are also steel carrying handles fitted at each end. Given a smattering of TLC, a paint strip and a good wax and polish it has the potential to become “a thing of beauty” or at least a very serviceable storage box. Collection is preferred but own courier will be welcomed by mutual arrangement.
